Barcelona Degusta is aimed at private consumers who are interested in cooking, health, quality, the elements of identity and new culinary trends. Barcelona Degusta is a select 'market' for food and agriculture products and knowledge, structured around dedicated product areas and with a wide variety of activities related to the theory and practice of eating. With each edition, the show has seen significant increases in the number of visitors and exhibitor companies, as well as exhibition space occupied.
Barcelona Degusta will be organised directly by Fira de Barcelona for at least the next three editions and will be held annually.At the same time Alimentaria Exhibitions will participate in the project as a member of the event's advisory committee, which will be chaired by the managing director of Alimentaria Exhibitions, Francisco Carrió.
Barcelona Degusta, the Consumer Food Show, will be held from 2 to 4 December, just before Christmas.
