As we are all acutely aware, there is an increasing demand from consumers that the products and services that they use are environmentally and socially friendly.
Reed Exhibitions has started to instigate various Green initiatives around the business worldwide, and will continue to become ‘more Green’ over time.
Reed Exhibitions has set up a green taskforce to promote environmentally friendly practices, company wide. The global taskforce, comprising Paul Zilk - Taskforce Manager (Reed MIDEM), Brigitte Chaintreau (Reed MIDEM), Laure Gentil (Southern Europe), Katsuhiko Hamaguchi (Japan), Piers Kelly (UK), Silvia Muik (Austria, Germany), Edwin Tan (South Asia) and Greg Topalian (Americas), will consider the environmental impact of our offices and practices, and of our shows. It will also identify and share best practices, and define priorities and targets. Implementation will be carried out at a local level.
