This October, the public allocation process for stands will be held in Madrid for companies which have confirmed their participation in Expo Reclam 2010 by the deadline. With four months to go before the event, 187 companies have confirmed their attendance for ER10.
The positive space reservation numbers bode well for a successful trade show. 187 companies have already confirmed their participation for Expo Reclam 2010 (ER10), which will open on Tuesday, 26 January. The international trade show thus reaffirms its leadership among professional trade fairs in southern Europe and its ability to attract 90% of the advertising and promotion market in Spain to each event.
The stand allocation process for Expo Reclam 2010 will be carried out by means of public meetings to be held in Madrid in early October. During this process, the trade show’s organisers — Reed Exhibitions Iberia — will take into consideration the space reservation requests submitted by companies with their registration.
In order to determine the final locations, a number of criteria have been established to make the process clearer and more transparent. The rules guarantee that allocations will be carried out at public meetings of up to 15 companies per session. These groups are established based on criteria such as the amount of exhibition space requested and how long the exhibitor has been participating.
The company’s participation in previous editions of Expo Reclam is one of the aspects given the greatest weight when it comes to choosing a location. Additionally, it is very important that exhibitors’ representatives are present at the allocation meetings for Expo Reclam 2010 in order to obtain the location which best suits their needs.
In addition, some companies will be able to participate as part of a group area, as there are plans to create a PSI Pavilion — for members of the PSI, a FYVAR (Spanish acronym for the Association of Advertising Item Manufacturers and Vendors) Pavilion and an AIMFAP (Spanish acronym for the Association of Promotional Item Importers, Wholesalers and Manufacturers) Pavilion.
The sector’s main trade show
After 21 editions, Expo Reclam 2010 has established itself as the most important Spanish trade show in the advertising and promotional gift sector and the second largest in Europe, after PSI in Dusseldorf. For three days, virtually all corporate gift dealers on the Iberian Peninsula come together at this specialised event reserved exclusively for professionals. The event is also attracting a growing number of professionals from abroad.
Expo Reclam is attended by exhibitor companies representing the entire range of promotional items on the market: clothing and textiles, food products, stationery products, house wares, leisure items, machinery and Christmas products, among others.
The 2009 edition was visited by 8,325 professionals representing 3,598 advertising and promotional gift dealers. This was a 0.47% increase in the number of visitors over the previous year. 282 exhibitor companies from 13 countries attended and more than 70% of the exhibitor companies had already attended the previous edition.
