Reed Exhibitions Iberia
November 2009 will bring the first edition of Hygienalia, a professional gathering at which the star is the professional cleaning and hygiene sector itself. With a comprehensive range of offerings representing all products, equipment and services for specialists, Hygienalia benefits from the support of ASFEL and the experience of its organiser, Reed Exhibitions Iberia.
17-19 November 2009, the Feria Valencia venue will welcome the first edition of Hygienalia. At the new biannual show, the professional cleaning and hygiene industry will be the true star. With the presence of key companies and associations from the sector, Hygienalia 2009 will offer cleaning products and equipment – for both interiors and urban locations, as well as services and solutions for related sectors.
With the support of the National Association of Spanish Cleaning and Hygiene Product Manufacturers (ASFEL), which brings this sector together and is the driving force behind the project, Hygienalia will be held in November of odd-numbered years. The aim is for all exhibitors and visitors taking part in the event to carry out their business activity, refining their own business strategies for future years during the trade show event.
Benchmark trade show
The presence of the sector’s most representative companies and associations will ensure that the Cleaning and Professional Hygiene Show is the benchmark gathering for the Iberian Peninsula. The collaboration between ASFEL and Reed Exhibitions Iberia – a firm with extensive experience in organising professional events – will establish the best channel to connect supply and demand. Over three days, Hygienalia will be the event where cleaning and industrial hygiene are the absolute stars.
The creation of this show highlights the current strategic importance of professional hygiene for any sector of activity. For this reason, Hygienalia proposes to be as integrated as possible, in terms of both supply and demand. The date of the event is key, as odd-numbered years coincide with fewer other events for the Spanish sector in Europe. And Feria Valencia, with top-flight facilities, enjoys unbeatable services for welcoming a professional audience.
Comprehensive offerings
The new event will be key for companies, industries and institutions which need to find solutions to their professional hygiene and cleaning needs. Hygienalia 2009 will present cleaning products and equipment for both interiors and urban settings, as well as services and solutions for related sectors, such as cellulose, dry cleaning and laundries, pest control, evacuation systems, work clothing, safety equipment and cleaning services, among others.
In addition, Hygienalia will also be the forum at which to discover the latest in the sector, including various activities of interest for professional visitors to the show, such as exhibitions, social events, technical workshops, seminars and presentations. In addition, alongside the exhibition and the various activities, the organisers of Hygienalia 2009 expect to include presentation of innovative projects and initiatives for the sector, both public and private.
The entire sector
All the actors in the sector will take part in Hygienalia: manufacturers, importers, distributors, service providers and cleaning companies. Promotion targeting professional visitors is envisaged from the point of view of a multi-sector event for the entire cleaning and professional hygiene value chain. Consequently, the focus will be on sectors for which hygiene is a key element, such as health care, hospitality, the food and beverage industry, urban development, commercial distribution, leisure, education and transport.
At Hygienalia 2009 there will be room for all companies representing any cleaning and professional hygiene sector, in order to generate the more profitable contacts for the professionals in attendance. In addition, in order to expand the business options of participants, Hygienalia will promote international commercial relations and from its very first edition, facilitate visits for professionals from the countries of the Mediterranean region.
